TAI CHI HAS A LONG AND RICH HISTORY.
PART OF THAT HISTORY IS IT’S IMPACT ON TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE - TAI CHI for HEALTH.
IN THE ARTICLES AND LINKS BELOW, TOGETHER WE CAN SHARE OUR KNOWLEDGE AND PERSONAL EXPERIENCES
THE YELLOW EMPEROR'S CLASSIC OF MEDICINE (the NEIJING SUWEN) ~240B.C.
“Health and well-being can be achieved only by remaining centered in spirit, guarding against the squandering of energy, promoting the constant flow of qi and blood, maintaining harmonious balance of yin and yang, adapting to the changing seasonal and yearly macrocosmic influences, and nourishing one’s self preventively. This is the way to a long and happy life.”
“In the old days, the sages prevented illness before it began, just as a good emperor or government was able to take the necessary steps to prevent war. Treating an illness after it has begun is like suppressing revolt after it has broken out. If someone digs a well when only thirsty, or forges weapons only after becoming engaged in battle, one cannot help but ask: Aren’t these actions too late?”

I take "virtual walks" on you tube, where you can "walk" in nature, in museums, or in cities around the world. You can see these beautiful sites while practicing taiji walking around the living room.

Hello! I miss you guys and our community so much! Just wanted to check in with you. Today I had a wonderful practice this morning whereby I did our Neigongs and Chi Gongs; Wave Hands Like Clouds; and practiced the form. I am trying to practice the parts I remember, and focus on one part for a given session. It has been interesting to me that after I finish a session, then I start to remember another part I may have left out. It unlocks something. It helps me get started by saying to myself "Just a little bit of love" today--something is better than nothing. It really unfolds if I make Tai Chi an intention. Love and Miss You!
